Embarking on a journey of lifelong learning and dedication to medicine, Dr. Dave Hope stands as a testament to the belief that it's never too late to follow your passion. After initially attending medical school to pursue an MD, Dr. Hope made the pivotal decision to switch paths, embracing the holistic approach of osteopathic medicine. This decision culminated in graduating from DO school in 2007, an achievement marked with distinction as Dr. Hope was over the age of 55 at the time, showcasing an unwavering commitment to personal and professional growth.
Following graduation, Dr. Hope honed their skills in family practice during a residency at Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, where they spent over three years providing compassionate care. His expertise led to a role as a concierge practitioner, further expanding his impact on individualized patient care. Dr. Hope’s leadership abilities shone brightly as the clinic director for the Rochester police, fire department, and Monroe County Sheriff's Department, a position held with distinction until 2020.
Not only has Dr. Hope been a provider of healthcare, but also a recipient of innovative treatments, having undergone 50 sessions of External Counterpulsation (ECP) therapy in Ohio. This personal experience with ECP therapy has only deepened their understanding of patient care from both sides of the stethoscope. Currently, Dr. Hope is an advocate for cardiovascular health, utilizing Cardio Miracle as part of their regimen, underscoring a commitment to not just treating, but also living the principles of optimal health and wellness.
