I think that USAID employees siphoned most of the funds into their own pockets. After all, this corruption has been going on for decades with not one soul in the DC Swamp giving a crap.
We know both parties are involved and you have to expect that fraud is running rampant in every agency of government. Nobody has been watching or regulating anything.
This could explain much of the deficits the government runs up like clockwork. Like the pantygon misplacing some $2 trillion dollars and no one even cares. Just give these wretched bums more and more money.

People have already forgotten that it was USAID and Soros involved in Ukraine during the Obama administration with the regime change there. That is when Russia was welcomed in to take Crimea as well.

So, you have a government in Ukraine that was elected by the people. Corruption was being rooted out. USAID and Soros comes in and overthrows this government and Russian activist start the little war at the same time. Biden was taking bribes from Russia, and threating to withhold money from Ukraine if they don't fire the prosecutor weeding out corruption looking into Burisma. There is no defending Russia taking the Crimea except they wanted the port for their navy. The same reason they got involved in Syria was to have the port there. You bought the same propaganda that everyone else did via USAID and Soros.

Spoke to one head & they work to increase graduation in Honduras from 30 to 60%. Do they produce results? Who knows - this event was luxurious with paid speakers. And guessing it was all USAID funded. My husband called it the Goodbye Tour
No wonder we are in such a deficit. The USAID seems to spread information that is not true, such as transgenderism. It would be worth it to slash the entire program and save the money to pay down the national debt of trillions. I don't understand how all this money was just given away. If nothing else, thank goodness this has been exposed, *finally*! I'm excited & relieved that the Administration is exposing this treason & waste, but concerned that Marco Rubio is folding it into the State Department. Yes, there may be some vestigial legitimate government functions in that ball of worms, yes Rubio is cutting its staff to I think 600, down from thousands, but a rule of bureaucracy is that no bad idea ever goes away, it just gets rebranded and eventually comes back bigger and worse than before. This reform-minded Administration won't be there forever.
I think we in America need to beat the drum for an END to this corruption, wherever it resides.

This is a great idea, but why does the government have to give money to any organization? It should be returned directly to individuals. Then the people would be able to pay for all their own needs including health care and education without any interference.
