I see this board is rather old but I’m hoping someone here can help. I need a religious exemption for the flu vaccine and wonder if there is a well written professional one maybe someone can direct me too. I work in a hospital and they are coming out with it and enforcing all to get it unless you have a religious or health reason to be exempt. I’ve had to have one every year and I’ve never had a problem in the past but I know more than I did in the past now and I don’t want to get another vaccine. Is there anyone that can help me? Thank you

One question, Dr. Tenpenny. "Viral" theory or terrain theory? Is it live or is it Memorex?

Alright, two questions.

I hope you do another article about the RISKS of the flu vaccine. Many get it knowing it may not help because they do not not think risk is involved. All of that aluminum accumulates, right?

Cochrane.org which is a coalition of independent -- or at least, used to be independent -- researchers, found that flu vaccines are of very low efficacy. I don't have the exact figures, but it's pretty much like this article states. In a given flu season, they may reduce your chance of catching a flu from about 3% to 1.5% or so, but hey, that's a "50% reduction in risk" which is what the proponents always shout. Adverse effects were not considered, and their analysis explicitly states so.

I've researched several preventions at Cochrane and elsewhere -- pneumonia vaccine, statin use, blood pressure, baby aspirin. Without exception, the overall story is similar to flu vaccines. Yes, they do provide some benefits, but the absolute improvement is so tiny that it's little better than doing nothing at all. This becomes even more true if one considers the risk of harm, which is always present.

Cochrane.org bills itself as independent of outside influence. Many of their reports seem so, but there is evidence that they have become compromised in recent years. E.g. Accepting donations from Gates and similar "charities." Cochrane itself is free membership, but you may need special access for some reports (on the Wiley server). I get "free" access via a University library.

I sued to take flu/pneumonia shots as recently as 2020. Hey, $10 gift card from the store! What's not to like??? But no more. In fairness, I've never been damaged (so far as I know) by medical treatments, but I've discovered that so much of what is claimed as medicine is basically smoke and mirrors. I will still use doctors, but no longer trust them. I will not accept treatment (including a drug) without first doing my own research. I'd make exceptions for emergencies.

My mother got an annual flu shot from the first year offered. Many years she still got the annual flu de jure. I wonder if the flu shots were responsible for dementia that slowly settled into her brain over a decades. I have never got a flu "vaccine" and never will. Thank you Dr. T!

Wow. I just read your article on the Flu shot. Loved it, thank you for your time and research then sharing it with us. I don't remember when I got my last Flu shot. But this article which I need to share with others has vindicated me. For that I thank you again.

I served in the military for 22 years and got the shot every year like everyone else. I cant say for sure the it helped me avoid the flu, but I also can't say I ever saw anyone get sick from the shot. I dont always get it now and probably wont for the foreseeable future but im not convinced it is harmful either. I would like to see more about the downside of the shot.
