Wow. Very thorough. I myself had a very mild case of covid and haven't had a normal smell or taste since. I seem to experience all of the symptoms since November of 21. I have found I would have a few brief moments where I could smell something as it should be after using prednisone for another issue. I searched for info and found conflicting reports on the effects of steroid use to improve the sense of smell. I have seen a NP and she advised using a heavy dose of vitamin a and zinc and 3 to 5 days id be able to smell.. I cannot. Im very hopeful you have some effective advice as to how to help this frustrating condition. Thank you for this article. I, a person who didn't care to make the most of my education was able to really understand how it was written.
