so tragic. A healthy, vibrant 14 year old girl died "of the flu" out of the blue in my hometown in 2018 and I remember her family mentioning in the papers that she had Tamiflu. Looking it up now most articles don't mention the Tamiflu (scrubbed?)
I always said that Tamiflu was the worse medicine that made the most money ever. Unbelievable Dr's would write for it. Way more side affects and way less effective than Elderberry.

I was told by a doctor that Paxlovid is the only treatment they are authorized to prescribe for Covid. There is no charge to the patient for the drug. I refused to take it.
Americans are lazy and want a flashy, new "magic" drug where they just pop a pill or two or take a shot, and-- voila-- NO responsibility necessary for taking control of their actual personal health.

Then I got a wake-up call from my low back and found it was all connected, as my L.Ac.'s from China found, to a lot of "other" issues that my Em Deity, (also Chinese.. but M.D.s are really NOT as well trained as the very experienced and traditionally-trained acupuncturists from China, where, in the old style, you lived with your Sifu during your training!) read me the riot act and wanted to put me on statins and BP meds immediately. I'm always really nice to him but he hasn't been able to fix ONE DAMNED THING for me, except to grant me my wish, on bended knee, to go downstairs to PT, where the good people there did in fact have lots of fun stuff for me to do that's helped me a lot.
Hi Hunter. My story is somewhat different. Unlike you, I don't have any acute health issues, unless you count 20% carotid stenosis (which, I believe, is not at all unusual as one enters one's 60s). I met the treatment guidelines for "cholesterol" and blood pressure, so I was placed on the "appropriate" preventions. At the time, I did not object. I still had trust in medicine. Last June I finally caught Covid-19. Mild case. My Dr. prescribed Paxlovid, which I refused. I considered this a betrayal. I then researched the routine drugs I took (statin, hypertension, aspirin). I concluded they are of close to no value for primary prevention, so I dropped them. I've lost most of my trust in medical care. I will still use it for emergencies I guess, or for "routine" treatment with drugs I know or can research in advance. Thanks to people like Tenpenny for providing glimpses of the truth in this sordid business.
