How come nobody’s talking about banning vanity use of Roundup in residential communities??? How long are we going to allow them to poison our pets???? My beloved dog developed terminal bladder cancer after we stayed in one of these gated manicured communities (where they were spraying lawn chemicals religiously - ruled by HOA). My vet said that over 50% dogs die of cancer caused by lawn chemicals, which they are exposed to more than anyone!
If this poison cannot be outright banned from farming, why can’t it be banned from our lawns on federal level??!!!!
Research Sri Lanka in 2021 and their attempt to go instantly organic. As much as chemical farming has to stop it also has to be carefully managed. If the consumer had taken responsibility for their own health and voted with their shopping trolly this change would already be under way.
I do not agree with chemical farming on any level and I shop accordingly however it is totally unrealistic to imagine you can stop chemical farming without a transition period to return to chemical free farming without starving the population and bankrupting farmers. In the mean time vote with your dollars and support chemical free farming. If anyone had cared to take responsibility for their own health and refused to buy chemical contaminated products big ag would have been forced to change and farmers could have been supported to produce healthy products.
Poison is still poison. The system can be stopped immediately organic food is already getting traction. But we had to demand better and keep improving. This is a slap in the face for ecological advancement. How dumb are we that we tolerate poisoning our food so other species don’t eat it but then we eat it ourselves. We can ban it by not buying it!! To do that we have use our own brains to eat non poisoned food that costs more so eat less. America is obese so cutting back should be easy !! Then stop wasting food like the world does too. It’s very simple if we keep it simple. Vote with your $$. Farmers and businesses will follow the money … people need to wake up or just accept their constant cancers and early death sadly. Well laid out arguments on the current status of the agricultural industry. Most aren't aware that farmers have to buy their seeds every year as these hybrid seeds are patented. At one time farmers would collect the seeds they needed to plant, this practice has been abandoned as well asfarms being owned by corporations and no longer faimly run. Young 4-H's find it next to impossible to own their own farm. I pray MAHA will help these young people restore tge family farm and break these corporations stranglehold on US farms.

This exit strategy should include subsidies to small and large farms willing to immediately begin changing their farming practices. Instead of such an exit strategy being presented, the manufacturers of this poison were granted immunity in the EO.
this excuse piece for Trump's most recent executive order to protect glyphosate and ensuring continued profits for Bayer assumes that without government protections glyphosate will immediately disappear and our food supply will suffer. that's not the case and anyone who isn't trying to find an excuse for Trump right now realizes that. making these excuses for this most recent executive order is only going to prolong the use of glyphosate and allow it to become more entrenched than it already is in our food supply.

Kennedy is simply a distraction. I wonder what they have on RFK that they have used to get him to play this role?

There are tillage implements that use propane or LNG to burn the weeds prior to planting. And the cost to run , reported anyway, is less than the cost of the same amount of herbicide to do the same job. Not sure why tools like this haven't taken off- oh yeah because Big Ag rules the roost.
Regenerative agriculture is the way to go forward, No GMOs and no poisons.
