Does SRT work for Alpha Gal Syndrome?

DayDawnBreaking's avatar

No, serious. I laughed at it too, but it is a for real allergy. My best friend was diagnosed with it and can’t eat mammalian meats. So only turkey, chicken, and fish. She has lost so much weight, she is now under 100 lbs.

huh! I looked it up - Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is an allergic condition in which people are allergic to alpha-gal, a sugar found in the tissues of all mammals except humans and other primates. It is also known as mammalian meat allergy, alpha-gal allergy, red meat allergy, and tick bite meat allergy.

It's worth a try and likely to be successful

I thought it was a transgender term or something like that!
