I do not celebrate the Pagan festivals of Easter (Ishtar / Eostre) or Christ's mass that Satan has brought into "Christianity", through Rome, to destroy our witness against sin and corruption. She is the goddess of war, sex, love and fertility. We are told that we should never even speak the names of these gods (Exodus 23: 13).

As a biblical believer I would rather celebrate the three biblical feasts (Exodus 23 & 34) and also Purim from Esther if we want to have feast days.

He died for our sins and rose for our justification during Passover and the feast of unleavened bread.

We need to be careful to obey God if we want to worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4: 24).

Crom the Parable you quoted Lazarus was still in torment. Jesus hadn’t descended into Hell yet to rescue EVERYONE. Wonder how the wicked kings and inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah fared being taken back to Heaven with “Everyone” .

Yes, our Messiah died by the shedding of His blood and rose again so we might have eternal life with Him!! But please don't celebrate easter, eostre, ishtar, sermeranius as if celebrating our God. That is a different god that easter worships. Be Blessed and full of His Spirit. :)

If our creator had thought that we needed a book to guide us, it would have published it itself.

Technically, YHVH did provide it Himself. He told Moses what to write and Moses wrote it all down. So, therefore, YHVH had a writer who wrote what He said, part of it was put inside the ark of the Testimony and the whole version, all 5 books, were preserved, handed down from generation to generation. That is how we have the Scriptures today. Yes, translated into the many languages, but all saying what YHVH said Himself. There are some versions in which the translators have taken out or added words, such as the Aleph & Tav missing from our modern day translations, or things added, (Most bibles tell you it was added by the ( ) being used). Also, when Yeshua, Jesus, came to earth, He was, is and will continue to be the Word of YHVH. YHVH's Word became flesh. No better book of instructions can I think of!! :) Judaism adds to/takes away from the Scriptures by way of the oral Torah. Christianity does the same thing by removing & adding things to the Scriptures. The middle ground, where we must all 1st believe in Yeshua as our Messiah, is the starting point. From there, iron sharpens iron as we all learn His ways which are not like ours. Be Blessed and full of His Spirit. :)

He did and it was. He gave Moses two tablets with 10 sayings (commandments) to follow in our life.

If the creator had provided printed, bound volumes like a modern bible 1400 years before Gutenberg was born, it would have been regarded as a miracle and they would still be revered as originals.

I love the words to a hymn: “I’m forgiven because You were forsaken. I’m accepted, You were condemned. I’m alive and well, Your Spirit is within me, because You died and rose again.” Hallelujah, our King is risen!
