I have been my own doctor in many ways since I was a child. When I was 6, our wonderful family doctor tested my blood sugar and found it was high. He said, for me sugar was poison. I had had chronic bronchitis, allergies, was over weight, a head taller than my peers, and did not feel well. At 6, I did what I was told. My parents bought dietetic foods for me and I ate mostly high quality meat and fresh veggies. I grew tall and thin and full of energy.

I got the message! Food was the key to good health. My mother preferred allopathic medicine. My Dad did everything else he could to support our health. We had top quality shoes, drank bottled water from big glass jugs, had top quality food and no soda, chips, junk food.

The Holy Spirit, and wonderful doctors like you, Christiane Northrup, Thomas Levy, Mark Hyman, John Coppola, Valerie Montiero, and many, many more have educated me for years.

I take high quality supplements to support age-related deficiencies. I take no pharma and the pharma I did take caused disease.

I am 80 years old and still working part-time and starting a new business soon. I have avoided open heart surgery, major skin cancer surgery on my face, neuropathy caused by drugs I had been taking, knee pain, chronic sinus infection, use of antibiotics, Candida, reflux, and many other things that most MDs do not have a clue about. It has taken a lot of my time, but it has been a life long commitment. PS: I look and act and think much younger that my years.

I do have Medicare and a supplement so that I can go to any doctor in the country if I need to. Most people, including my own children, do not listen to my counsel and I rarely offer it since Covid. They do not have the courage of faith. But they are taking notice now that I am 80 and still vital and growing my own food.

What ever happened to critical thinking??? I thank God every day, I have an open mind, have nurtured my spirit, and am still on the cutting edge intellectually. Of course, I have very few people to talk with at length, but I have other sources!

Dr. Tenpenny, I really liked what you wrote and appreciated how you spent the time explaining to us how it is all changing and what the difference is between allopathic medicine and alternative. I am glad you addressed the fact that doctors (most in my experience) will drop you if you don't just mousy down, not ask too many questions and "do what you are told". When I was trying to get the best care for my Dad so he could heal, I did look at charts (I had the right) and many times (more than I hate to say here), the decimal points were moved over on the medicines and he would have been continually overdosed. That wasn't the only thing. The doctors we experienced (99%) did not want questions, did not want to spend any time discussing his care, etc. It was all just, a swift "marking up the chart" and leaving. I chalk this up to pure egotism and not really caring about the patient. So many things I could say here - we were also "fired" or "let go" at least 20 times for my asking questions or asking to see my Dad's chart. There were 2 doctors who helped me wean my Dad off the psychotropic drugs (suppressing his symptoms to control him) and there was a druggist (pharmacist) who actually gave me information that helped us (no doctor ever told me this), such as what was actually causing my Dad's frequent bouts with pneumonia (it was Prilosec). I won't say how I was able to cure his pneumona each time without the regular antibiotics, etc. But it taught me to think for myself, don't trust anyone who won't listen and who is not willing to discuss why and what they are doing. If they are not open to "what works" naturally, without side effects and using commonsense in getting back to recommending "whole food" without chemicals and processing, daily fresh air, quiet pleasant surroundings and drinking fresh clean water and fresh juices and the like, then I recommend staying far away from "doctors". My Dad ultimately got well, died without "Alzheimers/dementia" that he was diagnosed with and blessedly had a good passing at home. I am grateful for what I learned but it was not easy. The old way is dying out and I am glad. As long as people want a "quick fix" and do not want to take responsibility for what they put in their bodies, well, this old way will continue to make money off them. We just have to wake up to preventative medicine as being the best way to live. God bless you, Dr. Tenpenny, thank you for being there for us and not just pushing drugs to get a free trip to Bermuda or a new Mercedes.
