There should be a law (informed consent) to allow the consumer the right to vote/boycott with our pocketbooks this untested, disastrous gene editing technology in our food supply, livestock, and produce. We're going to need to find out which growers are doing this and which food manufacturing companies are buying it, and which grocers are selling it, so people know who/what to boycott. We also need to know what growers aren't doing this and invest in them more. I'd prefer food networks that offer produce that is 100% unadulterated. We also need to grow more of our food decentralized and completely divest from this industrialized Frankenfood enterprise altogether. They can't keep doing it if no one is buying it.

God help us. I hate to "beat a dead horse", but there was a time in this country when we used very few pesticides/herbicides and we fed the whole world. Our soils were healthy, farms were spread across the land and were in every community. People grew some of their own food easing the pressure on the farms. The key to healthy plants is healthy soil. Plants are just like us... if what they "eat" doesn't provide them with the nutrition they need to keep their immune systems healthy, they aren't able to fight off infestations. In a healthy ecosystem, there are both good insects and what we consider "bad" insects. The good insects feed on those bad insects. The key is making sure your farm has more good insects than bad, and the way to do this is create an ecosystem that those good insects thrive in. I experience this in my own vegetable garden every year. This year, it was the artichoke plants that got an infestations of aphids. The plants are incredibly healthy, so they withstood the infestation and in came the ladybugs, carnivorous wasps and hornets to decimate the aphids. I didn't have to spray *anything* on them. Nature took care of it.
What's going to happen when these mad scientists go too far and we can't come back from it? That's where we are headed. The arrogance of these monsters and the (s)elected officials is breathtaking. They somehow believe that they will be able to control it when their "experiments" spiral out of control. I believe they are flat wrong. Just like with "vaccines" for humans, they are only looking at an "easy" fix to the problems. Got a bug, spray this "vaccine". Just like with lazy humans who have been hoodwinked into believing that if they just continue to live an unhealthy life they can just go get a shot or a pill. Instead, in most cases, we only need to give our bodies, plants, etc what they need to live a healthier life, but we can't bother with that. It requires too much work right?
I pity the young people who are going to have to live through the hell that's coming. I don't want to check out early, but I'm certainly glad I'm not a young person in today's world.
